These four kinds of modalities are used in the treatment of liver cancer – radiofrequency ablation, microwave ablation, TACE (Transarterial Chemoembolization), and TARE (Transarterial Radioembolization). Sometimes, a combination of these techniques is used based on the condition of the patient and the success is seen to be very good.
