There are two ways to treat cancer – one is the surgical technique in which we can remove the part of the tumour from the liver. There is a possibility to get a recurrence of tumour in the remaining liver. There are techniques to control the tumour and there are medicines to prevent the recurrence. But in cases when the tumour is very big and not removable, then the doctor advises one of the following techniques based on the patient’s condition – TACE (Transarterial Chemoembolization), RFA (Radio Frequency Ablation), Microwave Ablation (MWA), and TARE (Transarterial Radioembolization).
