Dr Govini Balasubramani has an overall experience of 26 years and is currently working as an Senior Consultant in the Department of Cardiovascular-Thoracic. He has experience of performing several on pump and off Pump CABG, complex congenital heart disease, thoracic and vascular surgical cases on a routine basis. He has done various researches like Dissertation on “Effects of mitral valve replacement on the pulmonary vascular dynamics in patients with long standing Mitral Valve Disease and Pulmonary hypertension” submitted to SVIMS University, “Surgical Management of Diaphragmatic Injuries”, an oral presentation at 52nd Annual Conference of The Indian Association of Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery, Bangalore, India, 25th February 2006 among others. He has also been an active participant at various conferences and meetings such as CTCME 2007 (Annual CME in Cardiac Surgery), MIMS, Calicut, Kerala, September – 2007, 10th Annual Live Tele Workshop on Aortic Aneurysms, G.Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital, Coimbatore, November 2007, 54h Annual conference of Indian Association of Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgeons, Pune, February 2008.
